Our guest house, La Halte du Pèlerin, certified by Gîtes de France with a 3-épi quality rating, is nestled in the heart of Vendée, within a peaceful hamlet in the quiet rolling countryside. From our location, you can easily travel out and explore the entire Vendée region.
The Guest House
Dating back to the late 19th century, our guesthouse features exposed wooden beams and stone walls. With 4 bedrooms accommodating up to 14 guests, a spacious communal lounge, and an adjoining kitchen, it’s ideal for gatherings with family or friends.

Everything for a Perfect Stay
At La Halte du Pèlerin, you will find everything for a perfect stay: free Wi-Fi, a fully equipped guest kitchen, a sheltered terrace, a bocce ball court, and outdoor games. You can also join us at our traditional guest dining table (table d'hôtes). Please note that pets are not allowed.
Our Story
We, Marie-Paule and Benoit, created La Halte du Pèlerin in July 2007 in the very house where Benoit's grandmother used to live. Having always been in close contact with people through her career as a trainer, Marie-Paule always wished to maintain this social connection while being fully present for her children. We therefore made the heartfelt choice to open our guest house and offer a shared dining experience, creating true moments of warmth and togetherness.

La Halte du Pèlerin offers 4 bedrooms accommodating up to 14 guests. On the ground floor, you’ll find Aubépine (2 guests) and Glycine (4 guests). Upstairs are Amaryllis (family suite, 4 guests) and Jonquille (4 guests).

Set in a peaceful, green setting in the heart of Vendée, La Halte du Pèlerin is approximately 50 km from Puy du Fou and less than an hour from the coast, beaches, and Marais Poitevin.
